
About Our SAMPLE REPORTS:
Each LABORCHEX Background Investigation Report (BIR) is accompanied by an EXECUTIVE SUMMARY cover sheet.
The EXECUTIVE SUMMARY is designed to provide you with the following basic information:
1. Identity of the applicant.
2. Identity of the client requesting background screening.
3. Types of screenings requested (Report Type).
4. Brief rundown of details (Description).
5. Level of Completion (Status).
The Status column will always include one of three notations:
- Research Complete: This indicates that the level of screening ordered has been completed, and does not indicate Red Flags or Discrepancies. Clients can establish criteria for Alerts and Discrepancies.
- Discrepancy: This indicates that details confirmed by LABORCHEX did not match those provided by the applicant. For instance, the applicant claimed to have worked as a Warehouse Manager, but LABORCHEX confirmed he was a forklift driver. Or, the applicant claimed she earned $14/hr as an Administrative Assistant, but LABORCHEX confirmed she earned $11/hr.
- Alert: This indicates that the LABORCHEX investigation reveals information that the client has indicated (during set-up of the account) could seriously influence the hiring decision. This could include criminal records, misinformation about college degrees, a revoked driver's license, termination details, etc. If a report includes an alert, a notation will also appear in the upper left corner of Executive Summary Sheet.
Detail Comparisons
Whenever possible, LABORCHEX provides the details the applicant has provided about employment, education, credentials, etc. AND the information revealed in the employment screening process. This allows clients to easily compare such information for accuracy and truthfulness.
