Monday, April 7, 2008 - Drugs at the workplace. Bad news for everyone!
Once an applicant is screened by LABORCHEX (and has signed a release authorizing a background investigation), they can be re-checked at any time while on your payroll. For instance, if a manager gets an anonymous tip from an employee that says a coworker was arrested for selling drugs (violating your policies), you can have us check the criminal record again. Or if the manager gets a tip that says a worker is using illegal drugs at the workplace, you can recheck the criminal record to learn if any drug-related criminal activity has occurred since the initial check was completed.
