Instead of handing someone a simple job application that is generic in nature, we suggest that clients add a Cover Sheet on top. That is, you let the applicant know that you appreciate his/her desire to work for you, but in order to keep the workforce, your customers, and the community safe, you conduct background checks. This serves as a 'warning' to the applicants that, if considered for employment, they will be checked out.
