Monday, September 8, 2008 - The Value of Regularly Checking Driving Records
Your drivers are vital in so many ways. And they are not limited to those who drive commercial vehicles. Your salespeople and office workers also drive. It's a fact that it would be a rare employee who would admit that his/her license has been adversely impacted, such as being suspended or revoked. That means you could have drivers who aren't legally on the road. A simple solution is to check driving records at least twice a year. Once a new employee signs a release authorizing an initial background check, the release is good for their entire period of employment. The driving records from most states are available within minutes.
